This is the finished collage. The original red and white area, was a challenge. It was repainted many times.  But that is the beauty of acrylic paints.  Don't like an area, paint over it.

I am pleased to post that my piece Hanging ,Waiting won Best of Show at IAA Collage, Asemblage, Printmaking show.

I had one piece, String Theory Anyone? accepted into the yearly juried show of NCS, National Collage Society.  The show of the actual pieces will be in Denver, as well as on line at their website.

National Collage Society Show

I was very pleased to receive notification of acceptance into the National Collage Society Show.
It is a once a year juried show.  I am honored to be one of the 91 accepted.  The show will be online starting in November, I will send out a link at that time.  The actual show will be in Denver at that time.  A full color show book will be printed and available at their website.

We're in Awful Deep

  Yupo paper is awesome.  Created a bunch of 9" x 12" sheets.  I limited my color palette, got out all the texture stuff I had been saving: bags from lemons, bubble wrap, plastic needle canvas, etc and let the paint fly.  A large drop cloth is definitely a must.  I used acrylics, many people use watercolor.  Easy to cut with a sharp Xacto knife,  must use tacky glue to collage.

GMO/profit vs. Humanity/loss

New piece just finished.  Have submitted it for jury process for the TVAA, Dallas, Humanity Show.
My piece "As we change them, so shall we change"  received a 4th place in the TVAA Member Show in May.  Very happy about that.  As always, would like to hear from you.  thanks for the view   jean
