My second new piece, also to be shown at the Art Connections Gallery in EAST, at the Pump Gallery.
You will see a few more changes, including the ones I talked about in the post below. This is the first time to use a white background. This is my first piece to use the Inktense. I had created a background as I have always done, but the colors did not sing. I layed them on just white and they popped out as I desired. The background actually has a layer of white swirled patterned sheer paper on top of the 300 lb. watercolor paper.
The woman shows the blending of becoming part plant from the changing of our genetics caused by GMOs in our diet. As you can see, she is reaching for her baby that is being born out of the plant's pod.
